about Studio CREATE
Studio CREATE is a work-in-progress -- a dream that is quickly materializing! Ultimately, Studio CREATE will be a hip, drop-in location in Sammamish where kids and adults can relax, shop and create. There will be craft projects to choose from in the studio, take home kits and party planning & hosting services.
Studio CREATE can also be the place where parents can find the extra help they need when school projects are making them crazy -- shopping for poster boards, cut out letters, etc. We will be there for you (and your kids!) with "creative guidance" and supplies. After-school craft sessions, gift making and wrapping, scrapbooking party space, and so much more!
As we work on these plans, Studio CREATE will still be available to you. We can deliver the same unique crafts for your group, in the convenience of your home or party location. We are also working with the Sammamish Farmers Market and their "Young Entrepreneur" program to get kids involved and selling their hand-made crafts at the weekly market. Simply book your studio time, create your crafts and sell them at the weekly market! Contact us for more Market information.
With more and more referrals from satisfied customers (click here to read what others are saying), it won't be long until a local studio is a reality. So check us out and see what all the buzz is about! Shouldn't you plan your next event with Studio CREATE?

about Patti
Having lived on the Plateau for many years, I am realizing that there is a need for a close-to-home place where kids can be encouraged to create -- not just art masterpieces, but unique and fun crafts that are actually functional! With a local studio, I hope to provide a positive environment for kids (and adults) to be able to come in and find that special project and have fun creating.
I have run my own business since 1998 when we moved to Sammamish. I started out as a website designer and slowly refocused my creativity to incorporate digital photography and crafts. My other business, Photography Creations is still around, but Studio CREATE is the next progression of that idea and my goal is to share some creativity with my local community.
Of course, it is so much more fun when you can share the creation process with someone else, so that's where my design partner, Shauna comes in. Our kids laugh at us when we have "mommy playdates" but having a craft buddy who lives next door is about as good as it gets! Starting a business together was a logical choice, and Studio CREATE is such an exciting new venture for both of us. Having participated in many holiday craft shows, I hope to share my new ideas and crafts with all of you, year-round in the studio or at your next party or get-together.

about Shauna
I have a background in interior design & sales, and am generally a "crafty" person, into scrapbooking, home-made crafts and home decor. Currently, as a stay-at-home mom, I wished I could find a fun yet profitable business that I loved and could do from home. Getting to know my new neighbor, Patti, I was inspired by her entrepreneurial dreams and her local photography business. We began crafting together and had a successful season at Patti's Photography Creations booth at several holiday events.
We started brainstorming new ways to promote our craft ideas and the "Studio CREATE" idea was born. With Patti's prior business connections to craft suppliers and wholesalers, we will be able to provide awesome crafts at an affordable price. That's important in this economy, and we certainly understand that! Our do-it-yourself kits will give you an affordable option while allowing your creativity to shine through.
Once we can move into our own studio, the fun will really begin! Until then, you can be sure that we are dreaming up more unique craft projects that will please the non-creative and crafty person as well.
